Although Carnival Elation features are not quite on par with those found on newer, bigger vessels, the ship offers a pretty decent array of amenities for the price. Families also will find improvements to Camp Ocean (the kids' camp), the onboard water park and the mini-golf course, leading to more enjoyment for kids and their parents. Carnival Elation was one of the first of Carnival Cruise Line's popular Fantasy-class ships and has been delighting cruisers of all age groups ever since. Onboard Carnival Elation, there was a miniature golf course as well as WaterWorks aqua park, albeit the latter primarily appealed to children. Since this is a popular cruise line for families, I made sure to talk with the kids’ recreation staff for this Carnival Elation Review. Five months later, I found myself boarding one of Carnival's oldest ships, Carnival Elation, for a 5-night cruise out of Jacksonville, Florida.
